The AGAPE Approach to healing is a method used for an Anointed God-Centered and Prayerful Encounter with our Creator. The purpose is to hold space to help you connect with Holy Spirit through focused and guided prayer, and allow Him to lead you into greater healing, freedom and wholeness.
We are all on a journey toward greater wholeness and freedom as we navigate a life of our own trauma and brokenness. If broken hearts aren’t brought to the Healer, our Creator, old wounds keep us from living in the fullness of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. His sacrifice paid for our complete freedom and wholeness, yet our burdens make us feel like captives to our own circumstances.
Most clients that come to me are experiencing brokenness internally. This may be exhibited as frustration, sadness, shame, pain, feeling stuck or without direction, anger...the list goes on.
As such, clients benefit from multiple sessions as there is often a lot of need presented.
Agape love, biblically speaking, is the highest form of love in Christianity. It is unconditional and rooted in sacrifice and empathy. Our Creator, the provider of agape love, gives selflessly, expansively, and intentionally for the good of the receiver. This is the transformative power of Christ-centered healing.

I am Dr. Cook, and I developed the AGAPE Approach as a result of my own healing journey and the incredible experiences I've been blessed to have helping others through life. Knowing I was called into healing and prayer ministry at a young age, I struggled with what that meant and how to step into that calling. I sought to learn more through varying Eastern and Western perspectives and modalities of prayer, meditation, and Reiki. God has since provided clarity and direction by inspiring the AGAPE Approach as a method toward healing and restoration by holding space for a personal encounter with our Creator through guided prayer and intention.
As a Christian, I believe we are spiritual energetic beings having a human experience while we are navigating our journey home. I believe that God is the Creator, Jesus is our hope and savior, and that the Holy Spirit is the energy around and within us. I believe in the power of a personal relationship with God to be the most pure form of worship and obedience.
My inspiration and source is God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit, the energy within and around us, moves in amazing ways.

My Services
My prayer since childhood has been to be used as a vessel to help others heal and walk in their God given purpose. I do this for Him and for His glory alone. I am not the healer, He is. My role in the AGAPE Approach is to help my clients by leading them to an encounter with their Creator through an Anointed God-Centered and Prayerful Encounter, and from there He does the rest.
In 1 on 1 sessions, we begin with prayer and creating space for Jesus to meet you where you are and minister to your heart. This is a guided prayerful encounter with a focus on connecting you with your Creator. Together, we work to help clear blockages, bring healing, restore hope, and release freedom from trauma and other experiences in life so you can come into full alignment with your purpose and destiny. My services may be provided in person or virtual.
While even a moment in God's presence may do more than years of traditional therapy, this service is not to replace any medical or other necessary interventions as identified by your physician.
Please note that while I am a PhD with training in trauma informed support and psychology, I am not a licensed therapist and I am not providing counseling services requiring such licensure. This is truly an Anointed God-Centered and Prayerful Encounter moved by the Holy Spirit.
